The ACS CCN1 reassessment (without training) course at City of Portsmouth College, is for Category 1 qualified gas engineers who need to renew their CCN1.
The course covers:
- core gas safety (CCN1),
- combustion analysers (CPA1)
- boilers / water heaters (CENWAT)
- cookers / hobs /ranges (CKR1)
- gas Fires / wall heaters (HTR1)
- warm air (DAH1)
You can renew your qualification up to six months early without losing any time on your current certificate.
This course is for Category 1 experienced and qualified gas engineers who need to renew their CCN1. If certification expired more than 12 months ago, then the engineer will need to sit the initial assessment route.
The College runs the ACS CCN1 reassessment course at least three times a month. Experienced engineers comfortably complete the course in two to three days.
The CCN1 ACS Gas reassessment is assessed through BPEC in line with all current industry standards. Assessments are both written and practical.
On completion, you will renew your current ACS CCN1 qualification for a further five years and can continue to apply for Gas Safe Registration.
