Retreat Salons
Our hair & beauty salon has had a £500,000 makeover and we’re looking for lots of customers to try out the luxurious new facilities at super-low prices.
Now called Retreat, it features three gorgeous purpose-designed rooms, fully equipped with everything you'd expect to find in commercial premises.
Fully accessible, downstairs there are two hairdressing salons with reclining hair wash units, a colour zone and a bespoke demonstration area which is linked to cameras so training videos can be recorded.
Upstairs the beauty suite incorporates all new, fully electric massage couches, backlit mirrors and raised pedicure chairs.
This year a new Level 3 Diploma in electric face and body treatments has been added and for 2025/26 we’ll be introducing a Level 4 in aesthetic treatments.
Curriculum Manager for Hair & Beauty Lyndsey Mason couldn’t be more delighted.
“Our salons have always been popular with students and customers alike and we’ve trained many of the region’s top stylists and beauty therapists,” she said.
“The summer transformation was a major investment for the College and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The rooms look fabulous!”
This year our courses are busier than ever so we need as many people as possible for our students to try out their new-found skills, under the watchful eye of their expert lecturers.
To ensure the highest quality service, the salons only use products available to the professionals, including Dermalogica and Schwarzkopf.
Our stylists and therapists are more than happy to advise on products to suit your personal needs but are not permitted to use clients' own products in the salon.
As well as the customer-facing salons where the students get hands-on practice in realistic working environments, there are also classrooms.
In addition to the full range of hair & beauty training for all skin and hair types, we also offer a wide range of short training courses for hair and beauty technicians. So if you fancy updating your skills or launching a new career, please give us a call.
