It’s almost T Levels Week at COPC
PUBLISHED 08-10-2025

City of Portsmouth College is set to celebrate all things T Level to mark the annual T Levels Week – a nationwide promotion by the Department for Education for this fantastic qualification.
T Levels are a two-year qualification in a single subject, but they’re worth three A Levels, and provide a unique mix of in-class learning (80%) and on-the-job experience (20%). Ideal if you have a strong sense of what you want to do in your further studies or career, T Levels offer a focused qualification that gets you the vital experience you need to get ahead.
Lee McCarthy, Assistant Principal at COPC, is giving specialist talks about T Levels at next week’s Open Events at our Highbury Campus (October 15 and 16, 5.15pm), and last week he was a star guest on Express FM’s breakfast show!
He said: "It was great fun to visit Express FM and talk to their breakfast host Ian James about T Levels and all the benefits they offer. And I'm excited to talk with future students and parents next week. T Levels are a fantastic option for many of our students and we're delighted to offer a great range of T Levels here at COPC."
