Join our Level 2 Certificate in Counselling and develop your knowledge and understanding of counselling principles and explore the skills required for a role in counselling, preparing you for further learning or training.
You will develop counselling skills, understand the different approaches involved in the use of counselling techniques, and appreciate the importance of self-development.
There are no exams during this course. Students' will complete assessment questions based on the skills and knowledge they have gained from the course units below:
- using counselling skills
- counselling skills and personal development
- tntroduction to counselling skills theories
- diversity and ethics in the use of counselling skills.
Students are expected to have at least a Level 1 qualification in English, which will be assessed before starting this course.
This qualification is online only so you can study at your own pace, in your own workspace. This qualification includes 120 guided learning hours.
This is a distance learning course. Assessment must meet the requirements of the identified assessment strategy/principles. All learning outcomes must be met to achieve a pass.
After successfully completing this course, you could go on to study a Level 2 or Level 3 classroom based counselling course.
