Our T Level in Education and Childcare is designed to increase your employment and progression prospects by completing 750 hours of extended hands-on experience in real-life work placements –all supported by an expert.
A minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including maths and English.
To give you the best possible chance of successfully completing your qualification, 100% attendance is expected for the duration of the course. Industry placements, tutorials and employability sessions all form part of the overall qualification and non-attendance to any of these sessions may result in the overall qualification not being achieved. Continued non-attendance to any timetabled sessions may result in losing your place on the course.
- a 2 hour exam at the end of year 1
- an Employer Set Project which will assess your knowledge, skills and behaviours in a work based scenario
- throughout year 2, your vocational competencies will be assessed via observations and professional discussions in your placement
- occupational specialism assessments at the end of year 2 via written and practical exams.
