This programme is for anyone wishing to gain knowledge and understanding of hand and nail care. It covers theory and practical in manicure treatments, including the correct procedure for filing, cuticles, massage and polishing.
No previous knowledge or experience is required.
This is a one-day programme run at our Highbury Campus.
You will complete the theory covered within the session and practice and apply techniques set by the tutor under assessment. Practice will be carried out on each other. It is advised that students that enrol for this have nothing on their fingernails (including acrylics) prior to the day of the programme.
The programme will enable you to progress to a part-time programme, which could lead to a College certificate enabling you to obtain insurance and boost your career prospects.
