This qualification is primarily developed for learners who wish to run an MOT Vehicle Test Station (VTS), or who will have direct responsibility for MOT operations at the VTS in the future.
This qualification will be of interest to those individuals wishing to set up an MOT testing station, or who may already be MOT tester and wish to advance their career further.
After completing this course, you will:
- know how to manage the legislative and compliance requirements of a vehicle test centre
- know how to deal with customer service problems within the vehicle test centre
- understand how to develop and supervise staff within the vehicle test centre
- Understand vehicle test centre quality systems and quality audits.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.
This course will be held Mondays, 5-9pm, for three weeks.
This course will use a range of assessment methods including one online exam covering the mandatory units and a practical assessment.
You will be able to operate an MOT test station.
